Wonderful presentation. Rick Hanson makes all these concepts so simple and practical and applicable to our daily lives. Thank you Rick for encouraging all of us to live our best lives for ourselves and others.
What a clear discussion of mindfulness sifted for easy understanding and practice. Rick has a unique knack for explaining and synthesizing the facets of mindfulness, Always a pleasure to hear him speak!
Thank you Rick! I loved this session! Neurons that fire together wire together! we are what we pay attention to. This is so important! The importance of the cycle: what the mind dwells on gradually fills your heart and, your mind is inclined to what is in the heart. I really enjoyed it.
❤️Wonderful ! Just listening to this one puts me into a peace filled state of being ❤️
Really enjoyed this. His gift seems to be connecting cutting edge biology and psychology with ancient Buddhist/mindful practice. Looking for the link to his new book. Can you please post that?
I loved the discussion and the way he presents it in a calm, and clear way. I loved the explanation on Neuroplasticity, and it helped me get clearer about many insights. Thank you Rick
So positive and heartening! Thank you!
Great presentation!! I love how Rick intertwines meta-cognition with mindfulness and really shows us the body-brain connection.
Thank you ?
Thank you very much Rick. This was excellent! I enjoyed this discussion and still trying to wrap my mind around the depth of the everything you spoke about. Its overwhelming.
Rick Hanson, I am so grateful to you for your book “Resilient” and the “Foundation of Wellbeing” programme (just commenced) which covers so very many aspects- including the science of neuroplasticity- leading to “coming home to the self” with the positive outcomes each of us is yearning for in an ongoing process.
Receiving access to this “Mindfullivingweek” summit is fantastic, as I gather your pearls of wisdom, joy, calm, connectedness and compassion, all grounded in authenticity. Thank you so much:)
Thank you so much . Loved the idea of strengthening community and coming together as a community to spread peace, harmony and wellbeing.
I could not write my notes fast enough. So much incredible information. Thank you for this.
Wonderful interview Kelly 🙂 and Dr. Rick Hanson great teaching as always, thank you very much!!
Just got a brighter insight: “I am what I pay attention to.” Thank you Rick Hanson
Most wonderful talk on mindfulness I have heard. I would be very interested in Dr Hanson’s books that explore fully this practice.
Thank you so much for this great interview.
This was very powerful, greatly useful and most appreciated.
The best explanatory talk about Mindfulness that I have ever heard ~ and I’ve heard many. Rick Hanson is loving, kind, giving and so easy to listen to. He explains things so simply but doesn’t talk down to people. Loved it! Thank you!?
I don’t say these words lightly when I say that the guidance and information that Dr Rick Hanson imparts is literally “Life Changing”. Dr Hanson has given me the tools, I’m now going to do my part, which is to carry out the actions.
Thank you to everyone involved in bringing these insights to the general population.
Wonderful, wonderful as always from Dr Rick Hanson.
I want to compliment Kaylee Isaacs (I apologize for guessing at the spelling of the name) for her wonderful questions during this interview with Rick Hanson. Her questions and follow up allowed this wise man to explain his ideas and approaches in a wonderful way. Congratulations to both questioner and presenter for their great interaction which allowed such full explanations.
Thank you so much Daniel! I’m so glad you found it helpful ?
I enjoyed this talk immensely, especially hearing about the scientific basis for the ideas. I would like to hear more about how the practice applies to people with psychological conditions such as ADHD and GAD.
I really apreciate the scientific-human approach, I mean no-religious, of the whole talk, so sticked to be alive and conscious of oneself and the others to get the personal transformation. Thank you very much.
I loved this! Best explanation of neuroplasticity I’ve heard and Rick’s manner is so inspirational!
Gracias! en gratitud infinita!
Clear, concise, pertinent, radiant presentation and a gentle kindness and visage that puts me in mind of Mister Rogers, especially with the baby grand Steinway as backdrop. Thank you.
